But Marni quickly became a coveted label in its own right, with Ms. Castiglioni creating contemporary coats that combined fur with fabric in ways that were modern and approachable. Now, the brand spans everything from ready-to-wear clothing, jewelry, handbags, shoes and eyewear, and is sold internationally from London and New York to Beijing and Moscow.
